Crazy Jim is an ice cream brand, founded by James Smith and Jean Stewart in the 1980s. It's a household name in Jamaica for over twenty-five years, known for its distinct flavour. The company manufactures ice cream and frozen novelties primarily for the wholesale vending market. It began with a business model which distributed goods (primarily through depots) to vendors who in turn retailed the products.
This network is composed of nine wholly-owned depots, these depots range from Kingston where the head office resides and three of the nine depots. Montego-Bay to the rural country sides, such as Spanish Town, Santa Cruz , Ocho Rios and Mandeville
Crazy Jim is known for a wide variety of exclusive and premium flavours particularly their ice cream and ice cream cake. Crazy Jim has their traditional flavours such as Vanilla, Rum and Raisin, Grapenut, Cherry Vanilla, Neopolitan and Cookies and Cream.
The company also saw it fit to create distinct and unique flavours which would be found no where but in Jamaica, such as PlumPudding and Sundae Fudge. Other flavours that exist under Crazy Jim are pistachio cherry, orange pineapple, coconut,mango and Reggae Boys which will be only found with the Crazy Jim, named after Jamaica's Football team.
Today the company has expanded their wholesale vending market to include cruise ship lines, supermarkets, service Stations,mini marts, pharmacies and hotels covering all sectors and areas of the ice cream market.
