Cold Stone Creamery locations, as well as two in the Seattle, would offer free ice cream today, as part of a fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
From 5 to 8 p.m., the company would now dish up samples of "Cole's Creation," which was actually inspired by a 10-year-old Colorado boy who made a wish of chocolate ice cream mixed with yellow cake, chocolate chips and rainbow sprinkles.
In Seattle, the participating Cold Stone Creamery shops are at the 1632 Westlake Ave. and 624 N. 34th St. the effort is part of a nationwide fundraising drive.
