A central New York dairy is hoists eyebrows with their newest creation: wine-flavored ice cream. After about two years of produce growth, Boonville's Mercer's Ice Cream has shaped ice cream in three different wine flavors. There's Ala Port Wine, Peachy White Zinfandel and Red Raspberry Chardonnay.
Officials at the tiny, nearby owned Oneida County dairy say the fresh flavors are lastly being scooped up by restaurants in New York City. A marketing advisor for the business believes they've got a nationwide product on their hands.
