Baskin-Robbins has introduced the new Double Header ice cream cone. The exclusive cone is designed to hold a swirl of soft serve and a scoop of ice cream in a single cone. Customers can now enjoy countless combinations of their favorite hard ice cream flavors along with tasty vanilla soft serve, side by side. The Double Header cone is available for the suggested price of $2.22 for one 2.5 oz. hard ice cream scoop and one 2 oz. soft serve serving.
Two scoops of hard ice cream and two soft serve servings may result in an up charge at select Baskin-Robbins locations. All other menu items, including ice cream toppings, will remain at regular menu price. Offer available while supplies last at participating Baskin-Robbins.
The idea for the Double Header came about as a result of a survey Baskin-Robbins conducted in collaboration with Insight Express to learn more about Americans' ice cream eating habits. The survey found that more than half of Americans cannot decide between traditional hard ice cream and soft serve -- they love both.
Baskin-Robbins introduced soft serve in May 2008, becoming the only national ice cream chain to offer both soft serve and hard ice cream.
